What Proquip equipment do you repair?

Proquip is a broad commercial kitchen range: warewashing, refrigeration, benchtop cooking equipment and bakery appliances such as convection and deck ovens. We repair the Proquip machines that match the work we already do. Dishwashers go through dishwasher repairs, ovens through convection servicing, and gas or electrical faults through gas and electrical repairs.

How do you know which Proquip machine it is?

From the rating plate. The name covers a lot of different appliances, so the model and serial number, and a photo, matter more than the brand name alone. Tell us if it is a dishwasher, a glasswasher, an oven, a fridge or a benchtop cooker, and whether it is gas or electric. We will say if the fault is one we repair.

What does a Proquip service visit include?

For a dishwasher, servicing and, if you want it, the hygiene check of temperatures, dosing and electrical safety. For an oven, a check-over on a quarterly or six-monthly plan. For a gas or electrical fault, diagnosis by a registered technician and a repair quoted before extra work goes ahead. Every job produces a service report for that piece of equipment, with certification as required.

Who carries out Proquip repairs?

Factory-trained technicians at CES Wellington. They are registered electrical and gas technicians. We do not pass the job on as an official factory warranty desk. If the machine is still under a supplier warranty, check with the supplier first. If you are unsure, call us with the brand, model and serial number and we will help you work out who should attend.

How quickly can you attend?

Same-day response and emergency response within two hours, with breakdown cover 7 days, across Greater Wellington, the Wairarapa and Manawatū, including Palmerston North, Levin, Foxton and Pahiatua. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with after-hours cover on all 7 days.

How do I book a Proquip repair?

Call 0800 90 60 30 or book a job. Describe the appliance in the first line of the booking so it is not treated as a generic oven or dishwasher. The workshop is at Unit 39/83 Eastern Hutt Road, Lower Hutt. Planned visits are requested on the planned maintenance form.
