What Delta equipment do you repair?

Delta commercial planetary mixers, the bench and floor mixers sold for commercial kitchens with a stainless bowl, beater, hook and whisk. They are electrical machines. If your Delta appliance is a different catering machine, say so when you book and we will tell you whether the fault is one we repair. The mixer will not start. What should we check?

Only the safe checks. Is it plugged in and switched on at the wall? On these mixers the bowl guard has to be closed, and on many models the bowl has to be up, or the mixer will not run. If it still will not start, trips, smells hot, or the gearbox is noisy, switch it off and call us. Do not open the electrical cover.

Who repairs Delta mixers?

Factory-trained technicians who are registered electrical technicians. A mixer job is electrical, not gas, unless you are booking a different appliance. You get a service report for that mixer, with electrical certification as required. Extra work is priced with you first.

Can a mixer go on planned maintenance?

Yes. Planned visits are quarterly or six-monthly, depending on how hard the kitchen uses it. A bakery mixer running batches all day is not on the same gap as a café that uses it for the odd batch. Tell us the model on the planned maintenance form. We keep service history against the machine if you want asset management.

How quickly can you attend a mixer breakdown?

Same-day response and emergency response within two hours, with breakdown cover 7 days, across Greater Wellington, the Wairarapa and Manawatū, including Palmerston North, Levin, Foxton and Pahiatua. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with after-hours cover on all 7 days.
