What faults do you see on commercial dishwashers?

Machines that have stopped, will not heat, will not drain, or are not cleaning. Glasses or plates coming out cloudy, cycles running long, leaks, and error codes that return. Often the first safe checks are the water tap, a fully closed door, clean filters and scrap baskets, and detergent and rinse aid that have not run out. If those do not fix it, call us rather than opening the machine.

Do Washtech machines get a hygiene check?

Yes. The Dishwasher Hygiene Check looks at wash and rinse temperatures, detergent and rinse aid dosing, the condition of the machine, and electrical safety by a registered electrical technician. Rinse temperature is whatever that Washtech model specifies. We measure it against the manufacturer's figure, not a generic number.

Who does the work, and what paperwork is there?

Factory-trained technicians, registered as electrical and gas technicians. Each machine gets a service report, with electrical certification when the job needs it. Servicing can sit on a quarterly or six-monthly plan, matched to how hard the dishwasher runs.

How quickly can you attend?

Same-day response and emergency response within two hours, with breakdown cover 7 days, across Greater Wellington, the Wairarapa and Manawatū, including Palmerston North, Levin, Foxton and Pahiatua. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with after-hours cover on all 7 days.
